Section of I-405 closed this weekend

Washington State Department of Transportation is closing a section of I-405 near Renton, causing detours through the city this weekend.

Northbound I-405 will be closed from Sunset Boulevard NE (Exit 5) to Coal Creek Parkway SE (Exit 10) from 11:30 p.m. Friday, June 13, to 4 a.m. Monday, June 16, due to contractors paving and installing crossings and noise wall panels.

The detour runs east on Sunset Boulevard NE to Duvall Avenue NE, then continuing north on Coal Creek Parkway SE until it meets I-405.
